2016- How it all started

Shikksha-Ek-Abhiyan Trust is a non-profit organization established on 11.4.2016 with the purpose of identifying the root cause of illiteracy and providing education to the underprivileged.

A team of individuals committed to make the society a better place came together in 2016 and the trust has grown exponentially ever since.

We collaborate with schools in slum areas, identifying intelligent but financially disadvantaged children. We then secure sponsors for them, who fund their financial needs. Similarly, our donors give aids to the children coming from various slum areas. Regular progress reports are shared with the members to keep them updated on student’s progress. Events and celebrations foster interpersonal communication between everyone.

2019- 12 AA certification

In recognition of our commitment and dedication, we received the 12 AA certification (ITA) in 2019, further validating our organization’s integrity and adherence to best practices. This certification serves as a testament to our transparent and accountable operations.

2020- 80G Certified

We obtained 80G approval in August 2020, providing further assurance to our donors and supporters for their highly valued contributions to our organization.

We pride ourselves on being fully transparent and forthright in our operations, ensuring that our efforts are dedicated to the cause of education and upliftment of the underprivileged.

2023- CSR Certified

Our commitment to make a positive impact in the society and consistent efforts towards the same got us CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) certified.

We welcome corporate partners to collaborate with us and drive meaningful change in the society through our educational initiatives.

2023- Nishulk Classes

In some slum areas, where schools are far away from homes, parents are hesitant to enroll their children in them due to financial constraints.

We identified this problem and started  a tution-free education centre- “Nishulk Classes”.

We run daily classes to develop foundational skills as well as give primary education to children. In the weekends, Mahendi and Yoga classes are taken to develop skills and concentration among the students.
